María Eugenia Bargero (Emilio V, Bunge, Bs. As., Argentina. 1972). Es Ingeniera Agrónoma egresada de la Universidad Nacional del Centro, UNICEN (1998) y artista textil. 

Empieza su formación artística en el taller de Cecilia Koppmann en 2020. Luego participa del Programa de Formación Integral del Artista Textil FIAT LAB y del Textil desde el afecto a cargo de Karina Maddonni (2021) y del Programa de formación para artistas de Ecosistema de Afectos (2023). Realiza talleres y seminarios con diferentes artistas visuales. Acompañando su clínica de obra las artistas visuales Marian Cvik  (2021-2023) y Mariana Guagliano (2021-2024). Actualmente cursa la formación para artistas Proyecto Púrpura. 

Durante 2023 participó de la XVI Florence Biennale en Italia. Su muestra individual Desatar un Suspiro, fue expuesta en el Museo de Bellas Artes Carlos Alonso, General Villegas (2022), en la Alianza Francesa de Buenos Aires sede Flores, CABA (2023) y en la Embajada Argentina en Washington, USA (2024). En los últimos años participó en numerosas exposiciones colectivas en su país y en el exterior. 

En 2023 ganó el 2° premio en Fotografía con imagen o intervención textil CAAT, CABA y el 3° premio del XIX Salón Nacional de Arte Textil del Museo José Hernández, CABA. En 2022 ganó el 2° premio en el IV Salón 8M del Centro Argentino de Arte Textil y tuvo una mención del jurado en el XXIX Festival Internacional de Patchwork & Quilts, Gramado, Brasil. 

Actualmente vive y trabaja en General Villegas, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

María Eugenia Bargero (Emilio V, Bunge, Bs. As., Argentina. 1972) is an agricultural engineer with a degree from the National College of the Center, UNICEN (1998), and a textile artist.

She began her artistic training in the workshop of Cecilia Koppmann in 2020, after which she participated in the comprehensive training program for textile artists FIAT LAB and Textile from Affection under the direction of Karina Maddonni (2021) and in the training program for artists of the Affection Ecosystem (2023). She has participated in workshops and seminars with various visual artists and her clinic has been supported by visual artists Marian Cvik (2021-2023) and Mariana Guagliano (2021-2024). She is currently enrolled in the artist training program Proyecto Púrpura.

In 2023 she participated in the XVI Biennale of Florence in Italy. Her solo exhibition «Unleashing a Sigh» was shown at the Carlos Alonso Museum of Fine Arts, General Villegas (2022), at the French Alliance, Flores branch, CABA (2023), Buenos Aires and at the Argentine Embassy in Washington, USA (2024). In recent years, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions in her country and abroad.

In 2023 she won 2nd prize in Photography with Textile Image or Intervention CAAT, CABA, and 3rd prize at the XIX National Textile Art Salon of the José Hernández Museum, CABA. In 2022 she won second prize at the IV 8M Salon of the Argentine Center for Textile Art and received an honorable mention at the XXIX International Festival of Patchwork & Quilts, Gramado, Brazil.

She currently lives and works in General Villegas, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
